International superstar Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna have been turned in The Simpsons, leaving fans in fits of laughter as the Bollywood power couple show their funny side during these difficult times.
The adorable caricature, which was published by Twinkle Khanna on her social media, shows the pair turning into their own version of Homer and Marge Simpson.
Sharing the artwork with fans, Twinkle posted:
"Aww..This really brings out the crazy in us. I've always wondered what it would be like to step into The Simpsons world and now we're a step closer! I don't know who needs to hear this, but all 31 seasons of the Simpsons are streaming & I can't wait to watch the latest one with my kids. Goodbye responsibilities, hello couch! @DisneyPlusHotstarPremium #TheSimpsonsAreHere"
Akshay Kumar, whose character is wearing a white shirt, black jumper and blue trousers, reflects his status as one of the industry's most stylish men no matter whether in human or cartoon form!
Outside of Springfield, Akshay Kumar has been very active in the fight against the coronavirus. This has included a donation of Rs 25 crore to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's PM-CARES Fund, encouraging people to stay indoors during the pandemic and hosting the virtual music concert, #SanjeetSetu, which brought together some of India's biggest music talents to raise money for those most affected.
