London, Feb 24 (IANS) Several people were injured when a car crashed into a crowd of people during a carnival procession in a town in Germany's Hesse state on Monday, reports said.
The incident was reported from the town of Volksmarsen, the BBC reported.
Police have taken the driver of the car into custody and investigations are on, it added.
According to local German media, the number of those injured is between 10 to 15, and includes several small childran. Ambulances and a helicopter have reached the spot.
