Is this a claim or do you have any scientific approach of telling this ? Have you even looked into the way Indian embassy handles visa approvals before making this absurd claim ? US visa approval process does not rely entirely on documents. First and fore-most, one has to be entirely honest on the application form . This sounds easy, but no, lot of people are dishonest. I have seen people go with fake bank statements, accounts, depositing from no where about 2-3 lacks in account to show funds for MS and what not. Its difficult to catch these, but that does not mean it doesnt happen. There has been an absolute abuse of the H1-B visa by most of the consultants in recent years. The USCIS is cracking on them only now. In more recent years, i am seeing another trend.. For students who aspire to come : Come, study work. You got be bloddy damm good. Dont settle for small startup companies. Look to work in places like Microsoft, IBM, Google, Amazon, Apple if you are in tech sector. Other sectors, the top firms in your field..For H1-B holders: Look to work in an American firm instead of an overseas firm sponsoring your H1.. Dont be into contracting and stuff which is already looked with suspicion. For tourists : Be forthright in your interview. Any one on visa: do not abuse the system. For example : If your wife is on H4, dont make her do silly things like opening salon at home for cash .. She is not supposed to earn. .. If she wants to study and converts status to F1, make sure to get the F1 visa, instead of just being in status and not travelling outside US. For students, dont abuse the CPT / OPT like how it went on for Tri-Valley university. I have gone through F1 , H1-B, wife through H4 , parents through B1/B2 for visitor. None of them had any issues what so ever. My F1 interview was 3 minutes, H1b was 10 seconds.. There will be many cases like this .. its because such people do not abuse visa rules. ..through loopholes.So my suggestion to all you people is : work hard, speak politely, dont abuse the system, be honest. Visas should follow. PS: The best English speaking crowd I have seen is from Bangalore.. Ones born and brought up in Bangalore are affable, polite , work hard and largely honest. I dont see many rejections from here, may be i am wrong or havent seen ones who got rejected. I am from Indore, and I am writing this from my experience of stay in Bangalore for 3 years.
