He Naveen, welcome to Baltimore! I would definitely recommend the Mt. Vernon neighborhood. Its close enough to downtown to walk/bike on a daily basis, and theres enough activities going on around with several shops, bars and restaurants. I live in Mt. Vernon and walk to work downtown on a daily basis.
